Join us at our NEW VENUE: Rockpool Pavilion for a great talk from JCU experts and lecturers in the Conflict Management and Resolution Program, Claire Holland and Ben Freedman, as they speak about how we can engage our best thinking when we are working in the space between order and chaos and optimise our work.

What are the resilience traits that keep us at the ‘edge of chaos’? What are the pressures that push teams and individuals towards the accident zone? What does this mean for the development of skills and intelligence in complex work environments?

In work contexts, hovering around this edge of chaos is all about equilibrium. Too much tension or stress and we can be pushed into the ‘accident zone’ where we lose control over the outcomes of our work. Not enough tension and we can quickly disengage. This session will take participants on a fast-paced journey through some of the latest thinking on resilience, chaos, complexity, leadership, and emotional intelligence.

Drinks are available for purchase at the venue.
A light refreshment & water will be included so please don’t forget to supply dietary requirements in order notes by no later than a week before.

FREE for members* and $50 for non members

*Discount will apply at checkout
